I love to see moms pushing for change in the birthing world. There is a group in Ventura who are hoping to change the VBAC rules in some of the hospitals there.

PETA wants Ben and Jerry to use Breast Milk in their ice cream.
I think they got the idea from the Swiss restraunteur who is using breast milk in some of his recipes.
Sadly, I don’t think Breast Milk is creamy enough to make ice cream. But interesting idea.

I found out about this on Rixa’s blog.
A restaurant in Switzerlandis going to have menu items cooked with breastmilk. Interesting, I have tasted my own milk and it is pretty sweet. So I can imagine it might be yummy. But it would be an interesting mental hurdle for most.

The formula tragedy in China

This tragedy breaks my heart. Three babies have now died from tainted formula and over 6000 have been made sick from it.
